Adding Domains
To add a new domain
name to your account, do the following:
- Click the Domains
icon on your control panel.
- Scroll down to the
bottom of the page and click the last Add icon.
** You can only add more domains to your account if you have purchased a
Multi-Domain hosting plan.
Adding
Existing Domains
To add an existing
domain to your account, use the following form:
After you have click
on the Submit button, your site will be accessible immediately by the
instant domain alias. At the mean time, you will need to transfer your
domain name to our nameservers. You can request your current domain registrar
to update your nameserver (DNS server) record to the following:
Nameserver 1: ns1.active-venture.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.active-venture.com
Once the nameserver
information of your domain name has been updated, you will be able to access
your new site by this domain name in about 48-72 hours.
Alternatively, you
could also transfer
domain name to our parent company - Active-Domain.com,
at only US$9.95 per domain. You will then be able to manage your domain
configuration completely by yourself, without having to go through your
registrar.
